1. The challenge

The HIO Challenge is operated by Xcetra Pty Ltd. By purchasing an entry you agree to these terms in full. This is a game of skill.

2. Eligibility

Entrants must be aged 18 years or over. Entry is open to golfers worldwide subject to local gambling laws. It is the entrant's responsibility to confirm that participation is lawful in their jurisdiction.

3. Entry rules

• Entries are valid only on official club competition days at a registered golf course. Social rounds, friendly matches, and practice rounds do not qualify.
• The $1.00 entry fee must be submitted and payment confirmed before the entrant's tee-off time. No retrospective entries will be accepted.
• Payout odds are 1:1000 in your selected currency of payment.
• One entry per player per competition event.
• The hole-in-one must occur on one of the two par 3 holes designated for that event by the Platform administrator.
• The shot must be witnessed by at least one playing partner.
• Player must play from regular competition tees. Shorter tees such as junior or ladies tees will not count.

4. Making a claim

To claim the prize, the player must use their unique claim link and provide: a clear photograph of the completed scorecard showing the hole-in-one; and the full name, email, and telephone number of the club manager or competition secretary. Claims must be submitted on the same day as the competition wherever possible.

5. Verification

All claims are independently verified. We contact the club manager to confirm the event, the hole, and the scorecard. Our verification decision is final. Submission of false information may result in legal action.

6. Prize payment

The prize is $1,000 (AUD or the currency of the event). One prize is payable per qualifying event. Payment is made within 5 business days of claim approval by electronic bank transfer.

7. Club affiliation

Registered golf clubs receive 10% of each entry fee generated at their course, paid monthly where the balance exceeds $50. We reserve the right to adjust the affiliation rate with 30 days written notice.

8. Disqualification

We reserve the right to disqualify any entry and withhold payment where we reasonably suspect fraud, misrepresentation, late entry, or any other breach of these terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to any entrant is limited to the refund of their $1 entry fee.

10. Privacy

Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By entering, you consent to us contacting your club manager for verification purposes.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia.
